According to N-able’s findings, the most automated MSP activities are backup, patch management and security tool configuration.
PRAGUE, April 20, 2022 – ZEBRA SYSTEMS, a distributor of N-able solutions on Czech and Slovak markets, said that one of the most valued benefits of IT providers’ transition to the MSP model is automation of previously manual activities. According to the findings of a recent N-able study, MSP providers are automating backups, patching and security tool configurations in particular.
State of the Market report: The New Threat Landscape by N-able mentions that with the increasing number and sophistication of cyberattacks, manual defenses are virtually ineffective. Introducing a higher level of automation will allow MSPs to shed time-consuming routine activities, focus more on more strategic IT security tasks and better ensure business continuity for their customers.
The report’s most interesting findings:
“In the traditional world of IT providers, administrators are overwhelmed with monotonous, repetitive and tedious tasks that can now be easily automated,” said Ondřej Šabata, Sales Engineer for N-able solutions at ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “By switching to an MSP platform, they gain powerful tools to improve their own business and customer service at the same time. N-able, for example, offers an automation cookbook on its portal that contains over 640 specific scripts tailored to N-able’s MSP solutions.”
