News You Should Not Miss...

GFI Software

According to the GFI survey by ZEBRA SYSTEMS, protection of email communication is the most important part of IT security for SMBs. And no wonder. A failure of email communication will essentially bring business operations to a halt — regardless of the industry or type of organisation. In addition, phishing is the most frequently registered type of cyber attack.

Acronis

56% of IT users irretrievably lost their data last year, according to annual Cyber Protection Week global survey by Acronis. Unsurpsingly, in light of this statistic, full 43% confess they backup their data irregularly or not at all.

N-able

Results of the world-renowned MITRE ATT&CK 2022 security solutions benchmark, which this year focused primarily on the detection and analysis of attacks that targeted data encryption, are out. They show, among other things, that SentinelOne powering N‑able EDR achieved 99-100% rating in most categories, surpassing competitors like ESET, Palo Alto XDR or CrowdStrike.

Automation is a major motivation for moving to MSP. “In the traditional world of IT providers, administrators are overwhelmed with monotonous, repetitive and tedious tasks that can now be easily automated,” said Ondrej Šabata, Sales Engineer for N-able solutions at ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “By switching to an MSP platform, they gain powerful tools to improve their own business and customer service at the same time. According to the findings of a recent study by N-able, MSPs are primarily automating backup, patching and security tool configurations.
